- Vigilante 33 - Unforeseen circumstances! 15 July 2006 -

The Vigilante 33 was being craned in to West Bay Harbour last Saturday morning by our usual contractor, an operation we have performed many times before when it all went terribly wrong. Fortunately nobody was hurt but the vessel suffered significant damage as you would expect from an 18 tonne crane landing on her deck. At the moment we suspect a mechanical failure in the leg of the crane pending further investigation. We are currently talking with the insurance companies involved and hope to resolve a solution shortly - Watch this space for latest news.
